The Brief
Focusing on fostering sustainable development in Vietnam, the SSC project implements Denmark’s Strategy for Development Cooperation by prioritizing climate-smart agriculture, sustainable food systems, agroecology, and the prevention of food loss and waste. These efforts aim to enhance resilience, food security, and employment, while reducing carbon emissions. CL2B contributed a decade of background analysis on Vietnam's agriculture and food sectors, particularly addressing food loss and waste challenges, to support SSC in mapping out the program's action plan to tackle these issues.
